ABS aims to let users harness the maximum SAP capability by automating processes and making it easy to connect SAP to outside world. “We focus on oil and gas industry, but our solutions can be used in other industries as well,” says Telfah. ABS provides SAP-certified terminal automation software and hardware (for bulk loading/ offloading terminals), rail-yard, freight rating, dispatching and planned orders solutions.
Transaction Management Workbench (TMW)-Bill-of- Lading, ABS’s flagship product, is primarily designed to automate logistics and financial transactions/processes in SAP and produce necessary documents with ease and efficiency. TMW can plan, receive, and automate all Bill-of-Lading activities from terminals in SAP and produce the various scenarios. By interfacing with external data feed, TMW bridges the connection between SAP and external systems like trading systems. The product is HANA certified and ABAP add-on.
TMW sits inside the SAP systems with links to points of transaction generation, like bulk terminals, Point-of-Sale (POS) or manual entry, thus automating the process of data validation, accumulation, actualization, and subsequent corrections.
Our solutions can optimize any logistic operation or any process within SAP and will make SAP system work harder for you
In addition, TMW-Planned Order software can streamline the process of taking and optimizing customer orders and answering customer queries, i.e. customer service center enablement. The software proposes the best supply location, best freight scenario etc. Once the customer places the planned order, it is tracked throughout the stages of fulfillment. The planned order handles special instructions and customer notification of shipment stages.
ABS TLOAD system is a terminal automation system with hardware and software complete with temperature correction calculation of volumes based on the latest ASTM D 1250-04. By enabling real-time transaction/BOL transmission from field (terminals) to SAP, TLOAD allows the use of the SAP master data at field and advanced functions like credit checks, loading based on planned orders, driver insurance checks. TLOAD can be integrated into existing plant automation infrastructure like PLCs, meters and scales.
ABS freight engine is built within SAP to manage all aspects of Bulk Transportation including billing and accruals of freight charges. The engine also allows simulation of transportation scenarios in order to optimize logistics movements.
Additionally, mobility being a key trend in SAP, the firm also provides enterprise mobility software applications. With the help of mobile app, users can look at the switch list in mobile app and thereby control the railcar movements. Adding to their growth trajectory, the firm is planning to widen their global geographical customer base. The firm also aims to enhance their SAP expertise to help their clients mitigate the problems in SAP.
