April 2022CIOAPPLICATIONS.COM 19supporting this industry generally do not have knowledge of the FDA regulations, let alone a proven methodology for how to implement NetSuite for such compliance. Fortunately, we help life sciences companies navigate their systems, embrace GMPs, and integrate and meet compliance requirements. Can you give us insights into the market pain points and challenges? What are some of the concerns that clients share with you?The pandemic essentially pushed companies into a remote working model, rather than a centralized one. As a cloud-based solution, NetSuite offers even more benefits for virtual workflows. First, a cloud-based system means teams can access information in real-time, regardless of their location. With NetSuite, companies also gain a 360-degree view of their inventory, customers, and manufacturing processes. Second, NetSuite offers a secure, centralized network--so companies can safely operate without a slow or unreliable VPN network.Still, many companies express concern around cloud security, especially when they work with large packages like NetSuite. Many of our clients may not have an IT team on hand, and they need us to take over. But, since we already work with Oracle, we can assure that companies meet all security requirements. Above all, NetSuite allows companies to control the level of access and permission to sensitive data by assigning team roles. Each of these processes help protect companies against the vulnerabilities of a data breach. Can you please cite a case study on how Green Business Systems has helped a client overcome their challenges and attain desired outcomes?Over the years, we have served many growing and successful companies. A recent challenge was with a client in the educational publishing industry. We started working with them in January 2020 and they missed their go-live date twice due to the pandemic. Our team quickly integrated core processes into the company's NetSuite environment--including processes for receiving products, shipping, sales transactions, and more. In late February and early March of 2020, however, the Covid pandemic was just beginning, and remote implementation was the safest option for everyone. Despite this challenging scenario, we completed all the work processes upfront, and our client was able to go live on their planned date in April. We kept a detailed list of the backlogged processes and finished it before the client's busy season that began in June. At the beginning of 2021, we did a few more enhancements, including customizing fast order entry. Overall, it's safe to say that some of our most challenging obstacles have led to our most efficient and transformative processes. What does the future hold for Green Business Systems? We've grown rapidly in the last 18 months. As we continue catering to clients across various industries, especially in the life sciences sector, we are fine-tuning our custom solutions for niche-specific functions--such as tracking pre-revenue costs on clinical trials. We are also creating proprietary NetSuite bundles to help our clients function more efficiently within their domain. We will continue to be on the top of our game in serving clients and taking their pain points away. As a NetSuite partner, we help clients streamline, transform and optimize their business processes
